Dr Tom Caudell is a registered medical practitioner, member of the Royal College of General Practitioners, and on the GMC General Practice register. He was a Partner and GP Principal for more than 12 years in a large NHS teaching practice, Talbot Medical Centre, has worked as a GP trainer and appraiser, and has represented the constituency of Bournemouth on the Dorset Local Medical Committee. He is currently in clinical practice as a sessional (locum) GP in the NHS, and as a private GP at The Clinic@78.

He also has a thriving expert witness practice which concentrates predominantly on cases of alleged GP clinical negligence. He counts many law firms and medicolegal agencies amongst his clients. His reports are much sought after, and renowned for their clarity.

Dr Caudell has undertaken Bond Solon expert witness training, and is familiar with CPR 35, the associated Practice Direction 35, and the Guidance for the Instruction of Experts in Civil Claims 2014. He is also well aware of the requirements of solicitors who are seeking expert evidence for the purposes of litigation.

Reports can be prepared on the basis of an hourly fee. Alternatively, a fixed-fee option is offered for CPR-compliant reports, and informal, not-for-disclosure screening opinions.
